Remote Sr Azure Cloud Devops Engineer

Description:

• The position is for a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer at Streamline, a company specializing in Enterprise Mobility, Product Engineering, and IT Transformation.
• This is a full-time remote role focused on developing systems that enhance client experience.
• The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations tailored to client needs.
• Key responsibilities include researching new technologies, automating solutions, and serving as a technical engineer for various projects.
• The role involves implementing new systems, upgrades, and modifications while ensuring compliance with client policies and procedures.
• The engineer will minimize service interruptions by proactively identifying and resolving problems and will analyze data to optimize performance.
• The position requires staying updated on tech trends, mentoring team members, and occasionally coding or evaluating code.
• Responsibilities also include creating dashboards for monitoring applications, improving software delivery processes, and overseeing data warehouse systems.

Requirements:

• A B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 10+ years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience with programming languages such as Bash, Python, Go, and Ruby is necessary.
• At least 8 years of experience as a cloud practitioner with Azure and AWS is required.
• Experience in building secure, scalable, and highly available PaaS/SaaS products is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure services is required.
• Candidates should be able to build cost estimates and find cost-effective solutions.
• Proven experience in networking, routers, and load balancers is necessary.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, and designing CI/CD templates is required.
• Candidates must have experience containerizing components using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in building infrastructure provisioning templates and Infrastructure as Code is necessary.
• Experience managing authentication and authorization with Okta, Azure AD, or similar is required.
• Proficiency in build tools like Maven, Gradle, and Fastlane is necessary.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and event-driven systems is required.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch, ELK stack, and Splunk is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience building monitoring dashboards with Splunk and Grafana.
• The ability to automate manual tasks is essential.
• Proficiency in APM and logging tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk is required.
• Candidates must have experience with cloud and on-prem relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong automation and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coaching junior team members is required.
• Azure and AWS certifications are necessary.
• System design experience is required.
