Description:
The position is for a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer at Streamline, a company specializing in Enterprise Mobility, Product Engineering, and IT Transformation.
This is a full-time remote role focused on developing functional systems to improve client experience.
The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet client needs.
Key responsibilities include researching new technologies, automating solutions, serving as a technical engineer for various projects, and ensuring change management and security procedures are followed.
The role involves minimizing client service interruptions, analyzing monitoring data, and sharing knowledge of tech trends and new technologies.
The engineer will create and manage dashboards for continuous monitoring, contribute to software delivery improvements, and oversee data warehouse systems.
The position requires coordination with auditors on compliance requests and providing guidance on compliance and security processes.
Mentoring fellow teammates and leading the implementation of the DevOps vision are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
A B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer.
A minimum of 10 years' experience with programming languages such as Bash, Python, Go, and Ruby is necessary.
At least 8 years of experience as a cloud practitioner with Azure and AWS is required.
Experience in building secure, scalable, highly available PaaS/SaaS products is essential.
In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure services is required.
Candidates should have the ability to build cost estimates and find cost-effective solutions.
Proven experience in networking, routers, load balancers, and GitHub/GitLab is necessary.
Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Candidates must have experience in building infrastructure provisioning templates and managing authentication with Okta or Azure AD.
Proficiency in build tools like Maven, Gradle, and Fastlane is required.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana is necessary.
Strong automation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Azure and AWS certifications are required, along with system design experience.
