The role of Sr. Back End Engineer involves creating and maintaining impactful tools that enhance Medely's technical platforms for both healthcare facilities and professionals.
Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, contributing to the analysis and design of site architecture, translating product requirements into robust code, and researching new technologies to improve user experience.
The engineer will lead code reviews, troubleshoot system issues, perform extensive testing, and collaborate with team members to resolve production and non-production issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering and a BS in computer science or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience using Ruby and Rails in a production environment is required.
Experience with relational database systems, specifically PostgreSQL, is necessary.
A deep understanding of RESTful API design is essential.
Candidates should possess a solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
Understanding how JavaScript frameworks, mobile apps, and other clients interact with APIs is also required.
