Remote Sr Backend Developer (Django) - Only Colombia and Argentina

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong knowledge in Django to join one of our clients, a tech company in the financial services sector (credits).
• The role involves implementing functionalities and improvements for the product in a Secure, Tested, and Effective manner.
• You will collaborate on enhancements in Product Quality, Security, and Performance.
• The position requires creating code that adheres to our internal style standards, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale Web environment.
• You will maintain and uphold these standards through the Publication and Review of Pull Requests.
• Responsibilities include deploying in Development, Testing, and Production environments.
• You will conduct functional testing of deployed functionalities.
• Daily standups and technical meetings will be part of your routine, along with verbal reporting to the company team.
• Providing second and third-level user support is expected.
• You will document the implemented solutions.
• The role also involves contributing to the design of functionalities, Technical Analysis, Estimation, Development, and implementation.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience working with Django is required.
• Solid programming experience with Python is essential.
• Experience in implementing APIs that are used concurrently by thousands of clients is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure for web applications is required.
• Experience with Docker and Git is mandatory.
• You should have experience in automated tasks (Celery/Redis) and automated testing.
• Proficiency in Scripting and terminal management is needed.
• A solid understanding and experience in implementing good development practices and agile methodologies is required.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns is essential.
• The ability to work independently and communicate clearly about completed or pending work is necessary.
• Experience working remotely as part of collaborative teams is required.
