Description:
- Design and lead the implementation of next-generation products
- Architect backend systems, such as designing an ingestion pipeline and deploying apps on AWS
- Build products using technologies like Typescript, Node, and more
- Guide and mentor internal and external engineers in a remote environment
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering management to execute items on the product roadmap
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle
- Assist in team expansion by interviewing and training new members
- Collaborate with lead architect and developers on system design
- Work in an agile environment, including sprint planning and standups
Requirements:
- 8+ years of senior software engineering experience
- Ability to complete projects on time and on budget
- Knowledge of leading software teams using agile methodologies
- Experience with AWS services, messaging queues, and Twilio
- Comfortable with ambiguity and defining software architecture patterns
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a startup culture
- Experience with HIPAA compliance and security
- Strong technical skills in architecture, design, and implementation tradeoffs
