Description:

  • Robots & Pencils is seeking a Fullstack (Node.js/React) Software Developer, Engineer who is known for being a trusted advisor and capable shipper.

  • Responsibilities include authoring and maintaining documentation, developing prototypes, programming according to project plans, and driving release activities.
  • Collaboration with designers to create interfaces, building mobile APIs and web applications, and peer reviewing code are key tasks.
  • Supporting sales and project managers, promoting the company, attending code meetings, and working on bug fixes are also part of the role.
  • Desired specifics include a deep understanding of Node JS, Java/Javascript, common design patterns, and various technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, TypeScript, etc.
  • Proficiency in web technology stack, SlackAPI’s, testing, quality, and behavior-driven development is required.
  • Understanding of CS concepts and the ability to learn new technologies are essential for the position.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software delivery experience.
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Passion for user and developer experiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal direction.
