Enroute seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development.
Expertise in Ruby on Rails and a strong knowledge of RESTful API design are required.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving is expected.
Nice to have: Experience with Python and JavaScript, familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js, experience with containerization tools like Docker, and experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
Additional nice-to-have skills include knowledge of audio formats and playback, experience with payment processing integrations, and experience working in a remote environment.
