We are seeking a talented Backend Django/Python Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Django/Python.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create, test, and deploy scalable, high-performance software solutions.
You will support back-end development tasks, including implementing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.
Ensuring code quality through best practices, unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards is essential.
You will diagnose and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt to maintain application stability and reliability.
Actively participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives is expected.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technologies.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to backend software stacks is important.

Requirements:

Proven experience in designing and building products from scratch in a startup environment; a self-starter with strong ownership and independent task management skills is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is necessary.
At least 5 years of professional experience, focusing on Python, Django, and RESTful APIs is required.
Experience working with relational databases (specifically PostgreSQL), WebSocket, and AWS Lambda is essential.
Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), GPT, and Prompt Engineering is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a globally distributed team are required.
Experience with Docker and LocalStack is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is required.
An understanding of agile development methodologies and hands-on experience applying them is essential.
