Remote Sr. Backend Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead the development and architecture of backend systems for Corelight's products and services.
• You will oversee a team of backend engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
• Responsibilities include leading technical design discussions, designing and operating scalable microservices, building REST APIs/GraphQL services, and working in an Agile development team.
• You will also drive the adoption of software development best practices and work closely with offshore teams on various development projects.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in building REST APIs/GraphQL to support data-heavy visual user interfaces.
• Proficiency in using AWS Services such as Lambda, AppSync, and API Gateway or equivalent.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java/Scala, and/or Go.
• Knowledge of both Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
