Description:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead the development and architecture of backend systems for Corelight's products and services.
You will oversee a team of backend engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Responsibilities include leading technical design discussions, designing and operating scalable microservices, building REST APIs/GraphQL services, and working in an Agile development team.
You will also drive the adoption of software development best practices and work closely with offshore teams on various development projects.
Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
Experience in building REST APIs/GraphQL to support data-heavy visual user interfaces.
Proficiency in using AWS Services such as Lambda, AppSync, and API Gateway or equivalent.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java/Scala, and/or Go.
Knowledge of both Relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Compensation for this position ranges from $155,000 to $180,000 USD, with potential for commission-based or discretionary bonuses, equity, and additional benefits.
