Remote Sr Backend Engineer

Description:

• Yalo is seeking a Sr Backend Engineer to work on their newest product, Yalo Pago, focusing on bringing conversational commerce to underserved populations.
• The role involves using cutting-edge technology to build intelligent and scalable products.
• Responsibilities include delivering high-quality applications and products.
• The ideal candidate will have experience as a Backend Engineer, proficiency with Typescript (Node.js), working with microservice architectures, using cloud services (AWS or GCP), strong experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB), event-driven APIs, Agile Methodologies & Continuous Delivery (CD), and Backend Testing.
• Nice to have skills include Fullstack Experience and working with content management systems.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
• Experience working with microservice architectures.
• Proficiency with Typescript (Node.js).
• Ability to use cloud services (AWS or GCP).
• Strong experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience in event-driven APIs.
• Experience working with Agile Methodologies & Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Experience in Backend Testing (Unit test, Integration test, and E2E test).
• Nice to have: Fullstack Experience and experience working with content management systems.
