Description:

• Pindrop is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to innovate at the intersection of technology and personal security, focusing on voice authentication and fraud prevention.
• The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software applications using Golang and Python, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• The engineer will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of software products, designing, building, evolving, and scaling solutions for the Pindrop platform.
• Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, and automating the build, deployment, and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
• The engineer will utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, highly available, and secure.
• The role requires deploying and managing cloud services, with proficiency in AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms, while optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Security best practices must be implemented throughout development and deployment stages, ensuring compliance standards are met.
• The position is remote and based in Ukraine.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5-7+ years of experience in Development, DevOps, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Golang and Python is required, along with experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub CI.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix system internals and hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP cloud platforms is essential, ideally with experience in both.
• Candidates should have experience operating production systems at scale and a strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are required.
• Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred qualifications include certifications in AWS or GCP, experience with Kubernetes orchestration, and familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
