Description:

The Reference Data Team is responsible for managing the data reconciliation and curation process for market data providers.
The team aims to build a single source of truth and provide alignment across public and alternative investment data products.
The Sr. Software Engineer will partner with product teams to understand business needs and contribute to engineering projects.
The engineering team primarily utilizes PySpark, Python, AWS, Terraform, Java, and Kubernetes, and follows Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and delivering significant projects on the data platform, collaborating to build data pipelines, and advocating for best practices in code and processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have several years of experience as a professional software engineer.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages is necessary.
Candidates should have proficiency with relational databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn rapidly are essential.
An interest in building data pipelines and working with Big Data is important.
