Description:
The Senior Cloud Data Engineer will collaborate with the product lead on various algorithmic data science projects.
Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications.
Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.
Create critical business reports, analyze and fix software errors promptly, and provide status reports as needed.
Work with the Product team to understand requirements and propose solutions to meet users' needs.
Analyze requirements, design and develop solutions using relevant programming languages.
Thoroughly test solutions and conduct research on software-related issues.
Bring innovative solutions to address challenging problems.
Prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Adapt to learning new technologies and demonstrate self-motivation.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in data engineering.
Requirements:
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines on the AWS cloud platform.
Proficiency in developing solutions using Snowflake database.
Hands-on experience in software troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
Ability to work closely with product leads to identify and prioritize data needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.
Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance continuously.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and developing data pipelines using various AWS technologies.
Proficiency in building and monitoring CloudWatch alarms.
Experience with AWS CICD suite and Python (intermediate/expert level).
Experience with Spark (strongly preferred) and Snowflake database.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex SQL problems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills.
