Description:
The Sr. Cloud Engineer for Azure at MediSpend will lead the enhancement of application and infrastructure assets for improved site reliability, automation, security, and operational efficiency.
The role involves evaluating, configuring, and troubleshooting Azure services, implementing technical controls for information security, setting up SSO connections, enabling Azure Blob Storage, deploying new application versions, building Disaster Recovery architecture, and optimizing Azure DevOps scripts.
The position requires a strong background in provisioning and configuring Azure services, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, familiarity with Terraform, deploying web applications and Linux-based Docker containers in Azure, managing Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and Power BI, working with Azure AD and B2C, and developing cost management frameworks.
The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for creating parameterized deployment automation scripts, monitoring service configurations for cost optimization, and investigating security incidents.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in provisioning and configuring Azure services.
Hands-on experience in monitoring and debugging Azure services.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps and familiarity with Terraform.
Experience deploying web applications and Linux-based Docker containers in Azure.
Knowledge of Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and Power BI deployment and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with Azure AD and B2C.
Strong scripting skills and ability to create parameterized deployment automation scripts.
Previous experience in building cost management frameworks.
Ability to work strategically and tactically in the Azure environment.
