As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be a key member of the security team, responsible for enhancing the security posture of the cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities include managing misconfigurations, developing access control mechanisms, designing and maintaining services and platforms, and driving the adoption of infrastructure as code practices.
You will establish comprehensive monitoring frameworks, architect security guardrails, and lead the development of infrastructure templates using Terraform.
The role also involves container security, incident escalation, collaboration with engineering teams, and the development of security automation workflows.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and distributed systems.
Deep expertise with major cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
A strong understanding of cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts is essential.
Experience with Kubernetes and container security is necessary.
Candidates should have experience building tools and services using Golang, Python, or other programming languages.
Familiarity with securing and hardening Linux containers and hosts is required.
The ability to write clear, scalable, and comprehensive design documentation is essential.
