Description:
As a Security Engineer III, you will be responsible for supporting the Security Engineering toolset.
You will develop, improve, modify, and assess security architecture in a hosting-based environment.
Your key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing scalable security solutions that meet customer requirements using both cloud-agnostic and cloud-native security tools.
You will lead collaborative design and implementation of solutions to meet remediation requirements for audits, security reviews, security incidents, and other activities.
You will design and implement automated security processes and controls to increase operational effectiveness and reduce manual processes.
You will implement and help manage security monitoring tools, including Managed Detection and Response solutions.
You will provide specification documentation deliverables to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and the necessary security controls to mitigate these vulnerabilities to an acceptable level of risk.
You will participate in pre-project cybersecurity risk assessments and apply organizational goals and objectives to develop and maintain architecture.
You will update and/or maintain standard operating procedures and apply cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements.
You will conduct routine vulnerability, configuration, and compliance assessments, working with customers to prioritize and manage the resulting findings.
You will assist in sales pursuits as a subject matter expert.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have 7 or more years of related experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, and/or Information Technology, including accountability for complex tasks and/or projects.
You should have at least 3 years of experience with one or more cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Engineering experience with technologies such as firewalls, vulnerability tools, IDP/IPS, HIDs, FIM, EDR, WAFs, IAM, and various other types of security controls, including cloud-native security tools, is necessary.
Proficiency in security monitoring and incident response within public cloud environments is required.
Experience with Cybersecurity Standards is essential.
