Description:
LogiSense is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer to work on monetizing IoT, Communications, and XaaS products for Enterprise customers.
The role involves architecting, designing, implementing, and monitoring cloud and server environments.
The position requires advocating and mentoring for devops initiatives within the Engineering team.

The Senior Cloud Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer will have a key role in developing and deploying infrastructure, influencing infrastructure development, and governing cloud environments.
Responsibilities include driving cloud hosting standards, mentoring team members, developing and documenting cloud infrastructure, and working with various technologies like AWS, Linux, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Additional tasks involve troubleshooting, analyzing cloud environments, recommending automation improvements, leading cloud security evaluations, and participating in incident response and system audits.
The role requires proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and a basic understanding of PCI and SOC compliance requirements.
Bonus points are available for certifications, experience with containers, Terraform, New Relic, Sumo Logic, etc., knowledge of .NET, C#, Node.js, RabbitMQ, Kanban framework, and industry technologies.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, Load Balancers, CloudTrail), CloudFront, Lambda, SSM, Linux web application servers, Docker containers, Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, Terraform, and Ansible.
Strong knowledge of logical and physical web architecture best practices, troubleshooting networking environments, managing Linux servers, and working with CI/CD and automation.
Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle shifting priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation improvements.
Understanding of PCI and SOC compliance requirements.
Ability to participate in on-call rotation, incident response, system audits, and passion for technology and learning.
