Description:
The Senior Data Analyst will support Clean Air Task Force's data-driven approach to addressing climate change by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, develop analytical models, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Clean Air Task Force is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing low-carbon energy and climate-protecting technologies through research, advocacy, and partnerships with the private sector.
The Senior Data Analyst will be a key player in driving policies and innovations towards zero emissions and environmental sustainability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in a nonprofit or research-oriented organization.
Proficiency in data cleaning, transformation, and analysis using statistical programming languages or software (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns or trends in data.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate complex data insights.
Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques, with experience in data modeling and predictive analytics being a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work with large datasets, and work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for environmental sustainability and climate change issues is preferred.
