This position is a full-time remote contract role.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, the candidate will leverage data to drive strategic decisions and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into actionable insights using Fabric, SQL, and Power BI.
The candidate will develop visually appealing dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and anomalies.
Optimizing data models and queries for efficient performance and scalability of Power BI solutions is essential.
The candidate will implement best practices for data visualization and work closely with data engineers to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Providing training and support to end users to maximize the adoption of Power BI tools is part of the role.
Staying updated on industry trends and collaborating with IT teams for compliance with data security and governance policies is also required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of impactful dashboards and reports.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation is required.
A solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience in designing efficient data models is necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Experience with other BI tools, such as Tableau, is a plus.
