Description:
The Senior Data Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures to meet the organization's strategic needs.
This role ensures data governance, process optimization, and system integration, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
The architect will define and design the company's data architecture, aligned with best practices and business needs.
They will create conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring data structuring and integrity.
The position involves developing robust and scalable data pipelines, optimizing ETL/ELT processes for Big Data and Data Warehousing.
The architect will lead data governance initiatives, establishing quality, security, and compliance policies (LGPD, GDPR).
They will ensure interoperability between systems and platforms, creating architectures that enable integration across multiple data sources.
The role includes supporting the selection of technologies and tools for data storage, processing, and analysis (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Cloud, etc.).
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI Analysts) is essential to ensure data efficiency and quality.
The architect will conduct audits and optimizations to improve the performance of databases and data solutions.
Documentation of processes, architecture, and data standards is required to ensure reproducibility and maintenance.
Acting as a technical mentor, the architect will train other professionals and ensure the dissemination of best practices in data architecture.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Data Modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) is required.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and ElasticSearch is necessary.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakes Architecture, including Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Hadoop, is essential.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT and Data Integration tools like Apache Airflow and DBT is required.
Experience with Big Data and Distributed Processing technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, and Databricks is necessary.
Proficiency in Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services like S3, Glue, Data Factory, and BigQuery is required.
Understanding of Data Security and Governance practices, including LGPD, GDPR, RBAC, and data encryption, is essential.
Experience with APIs and System Integration methods (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) is required.
Familiarity with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is necessary.
Nice-to-haves include certifications like AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, and Azure Data Engineer Associate.
Experience with Visualization and BI tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau) is a plus.
Experience with real-time data engineering and serverless architectures is desirable.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI applied to data is a bonus.
