Description:
The Sr. Data Architect role is a Contract to Hire position focused on integrating diverse data sources into production-ready data models to support organizational goals.
This position requires strong collaboration with business and technical teams to align with business strategies and objectives, ensuring that requirements are fulfilled throughout the entire data and analytics lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include gathering and understanding business and technical requirements, designing and implementing multidimensional and tabular data models, defining best practices for database design and ETL/ELT development, leading the development of ETL processes, creating architectural designs, documenting solution architecture, and collaborating across teams to drive business impact through technical solutions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience or 11+ years of total experience is required.
Proven experience in roles such as Data Architect, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst, with mandatory experience in healthcare or insurance services is essential.
Expertise in data warehousing, data architecture, data vault, and business intelligence is required.
Cloud-based project implementation experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure or Snowflake, is necessary.
Proficiency in enterprise data management technologies, including ETL tools, SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, data lakes, and master data management solutions, is required.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI and understanding of data lifecycle management, data quality principles, and security best practices is needed.
Preferred experience includes knowledge of Microsoft Azure BI and Analytics Stack, Snowflake, predictive analytics, data mining, machine learning, real-time and large-batch data pipelines, and FHIR standards.
Required competencies include payer industry-specific knowledge of business processes, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration, and knowledge of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies.
