Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for the data platform
- Standardize data ingestion and transformation processes for consistency and efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers for seamless data flow
- Lead data architecture initiatives and promote best practices across the company
- Implement data quality checks, governance policies, and security measures for data integrity
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication for effective solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7-10 years of experience as a data engineer, preferably in marketing or SaaS industry
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data development
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Experience with AWS, cloud-native data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks), and event-streaming platforms (Kafka)
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow, data transformation tools like dbt, and ETL tools
- Problem-solving skills to design efficient data solutions for complex challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
