Description:

  • As a Sr Data Engineer, you will be a key member of the data team, responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines and managing business intelligence tools.
  • Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, implementing solutions to enhance data quality and accessibility, and driving analytical insights for decision-making.
  • You will work on various projects, including optimizing pipelines and enhancing data security, while preparing the data infrastructure for future growth.
  • Responsibilities include creating and maintaining reliable data pipelines, developing and managing ETL processes, creating flexible data models, designing reporting solutions, implementing data quality checks, and championing data privacy and security.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is necessary.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential.
  • Experience with analytics data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery is required.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools like dbt, AWS Glue, Fivetran, and Segment is necessary.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, particularly Sigma and Heap, is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies are important.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
