Description:
Chamber is seeking a Sr. Data Integration Engineer to work remotely and contribute to revolutionizing cardiovascular care through technology.
The role involves enabling the flow of critical clinical and scheduling data between the Chamber platform, data warehouse, BI solutions, and various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
The engineer will empower cardiology practices and patient care teams to access and leverage information effectively, enhancing decision-making and improving patient care quality.
Key responsibilities include integrating, developing, and maintaining interoperability solutions, providing operational support for early-stage integrations, building scalable and secure infrastructure, and collaborating with customers and internal teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven ability to develop and utilize RESTful and GraphQL APIs in production environments.
Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools) is required.
A strong background in ETL/ELT workflows, data modeling, and data warehouse design is essential.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS, for hosting and scaling data pipelines is necessary.
Candidates should be able to implement monitoring and observability solutions for large-scale data flows.
Proficiency in EHR interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, APIs) and ETL pipelines is required.
Familiarity with common clinical data models and experience navigating healthcare interoperability challenges is necessary.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and experience creating repeatable, scalable processes and tools.
Strong customer-facing communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical partners and gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and clinical operations teams in a fast-paced setting is required.
Previous experience in cardiology, value-based care, or other specialized clinical settings is a plus.
Knowledge of scheduling systems and workflows in clinical practices is desirable.
Experience in a startup or rapid-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability and agility, is a nice-to-have.
