Description:

Pinterest is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to help uphold its mission of inspiring users and improving their lives.
The role involves developing best practices for instrumentation and experimentation, and communicating these to product engineering teams.
Candidates will apply scientific rigor and statistical methods to product creation, development, and improvement, while understanding user behaviors.
Responsibilities include building and prototyping analysis pipelines to provide insights at scale and advocating for necessary changes in data structures and metrics for product development.
The position requires collaboration with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to enhance user experiences on Pinterest.
Telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements:

A Master’s degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline, along with two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related field, OR a Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign equivalent) in the same fields with five (5) years of progressively responsible experience.

The salary range for this position is $230,000.00 - $254,024.00 per annum.
The position is eligible for equity.
