As a Data Scientist on the monitoring and VPP team, you will evaluate and improve solar production estimation, ensure data quality in the monitoring platform, and develop algorithms to predict future battery capacity for optimizing VPP dispatch.
You will develop machine learning, optimization, and other modeling solutions.
You will prepare comprehensive documented observations, analyses, and interpretations of results, including technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
The role involves working with various datasets, including timeseries data and "big data," requiring analysis on distributed computing platforms.
You will write software in Python, R, or similar languages and contribute code to product development teams.
Other job-related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master's Degree is required for this position.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary to effectively interface and problem-solve with both technical and non-technical team members.
Experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with agile methodologies is essential.
