RecargaPay is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of the Data Science area within the Marketing team.
This position will be the first Data Scientist role in the marketing team, providing an opportunity to design and lead the data strategy to optimize marketing initiatives, campaigns, and processes.
The candidate will develop and lead the data science strategy utilizing predictive analytics, machine learning, and advanced techniques to enhance marketing campaign efficiency and impact.
Responsibilities include implementing data analytics solutions for audience segmentation, content personalization, marketing automation, and ROI measurement.
The role involves collaboration with marketing, CRM, and MarTech teams to integrate data models that support data-driven decision-making.
The candidate will develop dashboards and visualization tools for continuous monitoring of key KPIs, offering actionable insights for marketing teams.
Best practices in data management will be defined and implemented, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR.
The candidate will train and guide future Data Science team members, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous optimization.
Acting as an ambassador for data use within the marketing team, the candidate will demonstrate the value of data analysis in influencing business outcomes and marketing strategies.
The role includes identifying opportunities to integrate new MarTech technologies and tools to drive growth and efficiency.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Ph.D. is highly valued.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Data Science roles, preferably focused on marketing, customer data analysis, or marketing technologies (MarTech).
Experience in leading data science projects from development to implementation with measurable impacts on marketing or sales strategies is essential.
Proficiency in machine learning techniques, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling is required.
Strong knowledge of programming languages and platforms such as Python, R, SQL, and Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is necessary.
Advanced skills in data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker are required.
The ability to work with large data volumes, generate insights, and communicate results clearly to non-technical teams is essential.
Excellent leadership and communication skills are necessary, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and promote a data-driven culture.
A strategic and results-oriented approach with experience in making impactful decisions is required.
