Remote Sr. Database Administrator

Description:

• The Sr. Database Administrator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and managing databases.
• This role includes creating and implementing backup and recovery strategies.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or similar query languages is necessary.
• At least 7+ years of experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL is required.
• In-depth knowledge of database backup and recovery methods is essential.
• Experience in database optimization, indexing, data integration, and reporting is needed.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and/or Windows operating systems is required.
• Expertise in database security and access management is necessary.
• The ability to write SQL queries and procedures is required.
• Strong written and spoken English skills are essential.
• Experience with database management tools is preferred.
