Description:
- The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and building the next-generation cloud platform for Perforce’s SaaS product portfolio to ensure security, reliability, and high availability of production & CI/CD environments and applications.
- Responsibilities include building platforms and frameworks for automatic management of applications and infrastructure, implementing application security best practices, advocating for a DevOps culture, managing CI/CD pipeline infrastructure/tools, driving automation efforts, and collaborating with Dev and DevOps teams.
- Daily tasks involve developing a technical design for the cloud platform, creating a framework, and ensuring the product meets quality standards.
Requirements:
- BS/MS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in SaaS software cloud operation & development.
- Deep understanding and experience with fundamental services on AWS/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, programming languages (Python, Ruby, Go, Java), Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-based web application architectures, secure SDLC, infrastructure as code frameworks, configuration management tools, and DevOps automation tools.
- Familiarity with vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi hosts.
