Description:

• Workana is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join one of the most innovative Retail Channel companies in the market, based in Spain.
• The company specializes in digital solutions for restaurant chains, including brands like 🍔McDonald’s, Vips, 🍕Domino’s Pizza, Telepizza, Pizza Hut, TGB, and 100 Montaditos.
• You will participate in or lead projects with a multidisciplinary team organized under agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Your mission will be to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
• Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for rapid and secure deployments, managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure, automating operational processes, monitoring and diagnosing infrastructure issues, collaborating with development teams, optimizing relational and noSQL databases, implementing security policies in AWS, participating in infrastructure code reviews, documenting configurations and processes, and planning actions with cybersecurity partners and the CTO.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps positions.
• A certification in AWS or demonstrable experience of 5+ years in managing AWS infrastructure is required.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Docker and experience in development is necessary.
• You should demonstrate proactivity, autonomy, and initiative to lead DevOps projects.
• The ability to work in a Spanish time zone is essential.
• Availability to perform operations during low-impact business hours (early morning in Spain) is required.
• Desirable skills include experience in development with PHP and SQL, experience with noSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB, knowledge in cybersecurity to identify vulnerabilities, and the ability to lead database optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
