Description:
Rula’s mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone by providing an end-to-end telehealth experience.
The Sr. Director of Infrastructure & Cloud Ops will establish a dedicated Infrastructure & Cloud Operations organization within engineering.
This leader will manage existing SR/DevOps and Infrastructure teams and extend to include cloud operations functions and IAM/Identity Management.
The role involves leading a team to mature the application and operating posture of the organization.
The position is a senior leadership role managing managers, not a hands-on technical role.
Success will be measured by the ability to lead through others, select appropriate technical leaders, and achieve technical and project goals.
The role requires collaboration with other engineering leaders to drive the best overall outcomes for Rula.
Excellent communication skills are essential for managing stakeholders and partners on Infrastructure and execution-related topics.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 15+ years in software engineering, with 10+ years in engineering leadership roles, and at least 3 years managing managers.
A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an Infrastructure organization managing hosted environments is required.
Experience managing infrastructure integrations that are critical to operations, such as access management, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience building or leading infrastructure teams in a SaaS environment, ideally in AWS.
Prior experience with AWS account management and cost management strategies is essential.
