Description:

Zapier is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join Team Sprout, responsible for the templates ecosystem that drives signups and expansion revenue.
The role involves shaping a high-visibility system that enhances user discovery and implementation of automation through templates.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, communicate effectively across functions, and possess a continuous, iterative mindset.
Responsibilities include building a world-class marketplace, personalizing the customer journey, collaborating with product and design teams, crafting frontend UIs, monitoring system health, resolving bugs, and engaging with various teams across Zapier.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience, with at least 2 years at a senior level, and a minimum of 4 years dedicated to web-based software products.
Deep experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript is required, along with a track record of delivering high-quality front-end experiences at scale.
Experience in building high-traffic, performance-sensitive web applications is essential, particularly for consumer-facing surfaces, with bonus experience in SaaS.
Candidates should be proficient in navigating visibility and collaborating deeply with product, design, and marketing teams.
Familiarity with OpenAPI and/or GraphQL is necessary, as well as experience with performance and observability tools like Datadog or New Relic.
A passion for AI and experience with tools like Copilot or OpenAI APIs is preferred.
