Description:
Zapier is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for their Growth zone to help make building automation a habit for every customer.
The role involves working with the team's engineers to develop Zapier's logged-in homepage for the customer's multi-product journey.
The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment with a high-impact team.
Responsibilities include building self-serve features, gamifying the Zapier experience, leading the development of the logged-in homepage, collaborating with product and design teams, mentoring fellow engineers, designing RESTful APIs, crafting frontend UIs, running user engagement experiments, monitoring system health, resolving bugs, and engaging with users directly.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 4 years dedicated to crafting web-based software products.
Strong expertise in Python and Typescript for backend services.
Experience with Next.js and React.js for building web application front-ends.
Proficiency in using tools like Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization.
Familiarity with deploying applications to Amazon Web Services.
Ability to use feature flags for deploying code to production and running A/B experiments.
Nice-to-have skills include working in fast-paced business areas, experience with GraphQL, and interest in Large Language Models (LLMs).
