Remote Sr. Engineer, Fullstack (Interfaces)

Description:

• Zapier is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Interfaces team, focusing on customizable web solutions.
• The Interfaces team offers a platform allowing users to create web apps using a drag-and-drop editor without coding skills.
• The role involves working with Next.js, React.js, tRPC, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, Vercel, and Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization.
• Responsibilities include expanding the Component Library, developing Interfaces Templates Library, integrating data sources to forms, implementing conditional logic in forms, and collaborating on building collaboration features.
• The position also entails designing RESTful APIs, running user engagement experiments, monitoring system health, resolving bugs, and engaging directly with users.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 4 years dedicated to crafting web-based software products, with expertise in TypeScript, React, and NodeJS.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js and React.js for building web applications, tRPC for type-safe APIs, Prisma ORM for database interactions, and deploying applications to Vercel.
• Experience with tools like Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization.
• Ability to balance multiple concerns in frontend app development, advocate for the user, and continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong collaboration skills, results-driven mindset, intentional and articulate approach to engineering, and commitment to delivering exceptional value through top-tier code quality.
