Description:
The Lead Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) and automation.
This position will lead a team of engineers to streamline operations, enhance security, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers focused on developing and maintaining Azure Infrastructure, including virtual desktop, virtual machines, serverless, and networking.
The engineer will design, develop, and implement Azure-based infrastructure using IaaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
They will also design, develop, and implement platform automations using scripting knowledge such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and create automation runbooks to update and optimize infrastructure.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in cloud computing.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience designing and implementing VDI solutions is required.
Candidates should possess 10+ years of knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Office 365 products, and Active Directory.
Preferred qualifications include experience leading a team of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration.
Experience utilizing CI/CD tools and leveraging automation platforms is also preferred.
Expert-level knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and macOS is desired.
Experience with vulnerability/configuration scanning platforms such as Wiz/Orca is a plus.
Exposure and experience with Google Cloud Platform and AWS is also preferred.
