Description:

  • The Lead Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) and automation.
  • This position will lead a team of engineers to streamline operations, enhance security, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers focused on developing and maintaining Azure Infrastructure, including virtual desktop, virtual machines, serverless, and networking.
  • The engineer will design, develop, and implement Azure-based infrastructure using IaaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • They will also design, develop, and implement platform automations using scripting knowledge such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and create automation runbooks to update and optimize infrastructure.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in cloud computing.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience designing and implementing VDI solutions is required.
  • Candidates should possess 10+ years of knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Office 365 products, and Active Directory.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience leading a team of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration.
  • Experience utilizing CI/CD tools and leveraging automation platforms is also preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and macOS is desired.
  • Experience with vulnerability/configuration scanning platforms such as Wiz/Orca is a plus.
  • Exposure and experience with Google Cloud Platform and AWS is also preferred.
