Description:

Zipdev is looking for a talented Software Engineer with experience in React/Javascript development to join their remote team and collaborate with a US-based client.
The role involves working with the existing team to expedite enhancements to the Invent product, which allows courseware developers to create and update cutting-edge online training for the Airline industry.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality front-end code using modern React frameworks.
The engineer will collaborate with team members and clients to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members is expected.
The role requires writing comprehensive technical documentation and performing code testing.
Staying current with emerging trends and best practices in front-end development is essential.
The engineer will work effectively with remote team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Maintaining a high level of quality and performance in the software development process is crucial.
This is a 3-6 month project with a high possibility of extension.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience specifically in React/JavaScript is required.
Experience with TypeScript is necessary.
Knowledge of Vite/NPM/Yarn is expected.
Candidates should have knowledge of Context/Dispatch/Reducer practices.
Understanding of state management is required.
Familiarity with useEffect is necessary.
Knowledge of memoization is expected.
Experience in building custom hooks is required.
Candidates should have experience devising and creating unit tests.
Experience with source control, preferably Git, is necessary.
Familiarity with Jira/Atlassian products is required.
Candidates should have experience creating and using JSON objects.
Excellent English skills are mandatory.
Candidates must currently be living in Latin America.
