The Senior Frontend Developer will work on internal platforms at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) using cutting-edge technologies like generative AI and machine learning.
The role involves delivering elegant solutions across a modern technology stack, ensuring code accessibility, maintainability, and thorough testing.
The developer will lead the team through issue resolution by evaluating trade-offs and presenting various options to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Proficiency in modern technology stacks, build tools like Webpack, version control systems like Git, and package managers like npm or Yarn.
Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for creating inclusive user experiences.
Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or similar.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
