Description:

- The Senior Frontend Developer will work on internal platforms at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) using cutting-edge technologies like generative AI and machine learning.
- The role involves delivering elegant solutions across a modern technology stack, ensuring code accessibility, maintainability, and thorough testing.
- The developer will lead the team through issue resolution by evaluating trade-offs and presenting various options to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in modern technology stacks, build tools like Webpack, version control systems like Git, and package managers like npm or Yarn.
- Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for creating inclusive user experiences.
- Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or similar.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
