Remote Sr Frontend Developer, Design Systems

Description:

• The Sr. Frontend Developer will join the Design Systems team at 1Password, focusing on creating high-quality and consistent user interfaces through the development of the company's Design System, Knox.
• Responsibilities include leading the development, testing, and debugging of new and existing design system components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with project goals, and setting an example in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in software development, expertise in building web components with Typescript and React, and a passion for communication and collaboration.
• Bonus points for prior experience in building and maintaining Design Systems and working across web and mobile platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including building web components with Typescript and React.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills demonstrated in working effectively with teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical partners.
• Continuous learning mindset, willingness to share knowledge, and mentorship experience.
• Prior experience building and maintaining Design Systems is a bonus.
• Prior experience working across web and mobile platforms is a bonus.
