• The role involves supporting the development of internal platforms at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) using cutting-edge technologies like generative AI and machine learning.
• The ideal candidate will deliver elegant solutions across a modern technology stack, ensuring code accessibility, maintainability, and thorough testing.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality frontend code, ensuring compliance with web accessibility standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver functional products.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to engage with teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in modern technology stacks, build tools like Webpack, version control systems like Git, and package managers like npm or Yarn.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for creating inclusive user experiences.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
