Description:

LILT is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer for a contract position based in Argentina, with remote work options available.
The role involves collaborating with a team to propose ideas, define, drive, and execute projects on Lilt’s Linguist GUI, App Server, and backend systems.
The engineer will enable linguists to deliver localized experiences, playing a high-visibility and high-impact role within the company.
Candidates should be curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a challenging entrepreneurial environment, with a willingness to experiment and iterate on processes as the company grows.

Requirements:

A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science is required, with a preference for a Master's degree.
Candidates must have 4+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack engineer.
Experience leading an engineering team in a technical capacity is necessary, though not as a manager of people.
Applicants should have experience working on large-scale, distributed software systems.
Proficiency in React or other associated libraries, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is required.
Candidates must have proficiency in node.js.
Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Python is necessary.
Solid relational database knowledge and significant experience with very large MySQL installations are highly valued.
Basic knowledge of NLP and machine learning techniques is also highly valued.
Professional fluency in English is required.
