Description:
- Join the software engineering team at VergeSense as a Sr. Full Stack Engineer.
- Work on the core VergeSense Occupancy Intelligence Platform built on React, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, TimescaleDB, and Snowflake.
- Help drive customer-facing features including visualizations, analytics, data storage, and APIs.
- Be a technical leader, communicator, mentor, and collaborator within the team.
- Report to the Director, Software: Data and Analytics.
Requirements:
- Must have 6+ years of industry experience.
- Deep understanding of OOP and API design patterns, especially in RESTful services.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/React and Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with PostgreSQL at scale and preferably with time-series data.
- Excellent communicator able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for writing clean, high-quality, high-performance code.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in CS or equivalent experience.
