The position is for a Full-Stack Engineer to join a small, fully remote team working on backend systems for an unannounced Multiplayer, Action RPG title.
Responsibilities include owning the technical design and implementation of robust, scalable, and extensible online services.
The engineer will collaborate with the engineering team to implement back-end services for the upcoming game.
The role involves building web services to interact with the blockchain and game servers, optimizing and debugging complex systems, and creating maintainable code.
The tech stack includes Node.js, Typescript, MongoDB, React, PostgreSQL, and C++.
The position allows for remote work from anywhere in the world.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive knowledge of Node.js, including its strengths and weaknesses.
Experience in architecting scalable Node.js applications is required.
A strong programming background with knowledge of JavaScript (ES6/ES7) and TypeScript is necessary.
Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
Prior experience working on shipped full-stack applications is required, along with experience in AWS and Docker.
Candidates should have experience with SQL database design and NoSQL database paradigms, specifically MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Some familiarity with C++ is preferred.
A passion for games is a must.
