The company is building a modern dating platform for relationship-ready singles, backed by notable Silicon Valley firms.
The goal is to become a leading relationship platform by leveraging Machine Learning, Large Language Models, Data Science, and Relationship Science.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will design, implement, and launch innovative software solutions in the dating and relationship space.
You will report to the Engineering Lead and handle the entire software engineering process for your projects.
Your responsibilities include leading the development of new full-stack features, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the advancement of engineering practices.
You will implement new full-stack features using TypeScript, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL on the Supabase platform.
You will lead technical projects, design and architect moderately complex systems, and document the structure and operation of implemented software solutions.
You will also maintain, refactor, or fix existing functionality and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

You must have 7 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on full-stack development.
Experience in customer-facing web applications architected as Single-Page Applications (SPA) is required.
Proficiency in implementing web application features in functional-reactive front-end frameworks such as React or Vue is necessary.
You should have experience implementing back-end features in REST/GraphQL APIs.
A strong eye for UI/UX design and the ability to design intuitive user interfaces is essential.
You must be able to benchmark and validate technical solutions for optimal performance and scalability.
Experience with designing data models and resolving performance issues for relational SQL-based databases like PostgreSQL is required.
Knowledge of web application security vulnerabilities and best practices is necessary.
Extensive experience programming in modern strongly-typed languages, particularly TypeScript, is required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are essential.
Proficiency with Git version control is necessary.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience in software engineering diagramming is required.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
