Remote Sr. Fullstack Developer (Java/React) at Robots & Pencils

Description:

Design, program, and test software while fostering team identity
Create and maintain documentation for developers, clients, and users to drive innovation
Develop and refine prototypes to validate requirements
Program based on project plans and seek innovative solutions
Test software according to predetermined test plans
Manage release activities, support, versioning, and maintenance
Collaborate with designers to develop interfaces following design guidelines
Build mobile APIs and web applications for mobile and browser clients
Conduct peer code reviews and mentor team members
Provide technical insights to sales and project managers for project budgets and schedules
Resolve issues and challenges with innovative solutions
Attend and contribute to code/development meetings
Write and maintain code for internal and external projects
Work with QA team on bug fixes and build reusable code and libraries

5+ years of software delivery experience
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Proficiency in React 17, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java 17 API development
Familiarity with Spring Boot, Quarkus, Redis, PostgreSQL, and advanced SQL skills
Experience with multiple databases and schemas, code versioning tools like Git, and testing/behavior-driven development
Understanding of CS concepts, APIs, services, microservices/SOA, data structures, normalization, and optimization
GitHub profile or link to open-source work
Excellent communication skills for interactions with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
