Description:

• Khan Academy is seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer I, Product to join their team in Mountain View, CA or work remotely in the US and Canada.
• The role involves working on projects such as integrating learning science into the product, partnering with public school districts, and building tools for teachers to use Khan Academy effectively.
• The position will involve harnessing the power of AI, specifically Khanmigo and Artificial Intelligence, to enhance product capabilities.
• The company is remote-first and uses technologies like Go, GraphQL, JavaScript, React, React Native, and Redux.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in building world-class product experiences, strong technical project management skills, and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

• Experience with Generative AI/LLMs and building user interfaces with accessibility in mind are considered advantageous.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building interactive web-apps with scalable backend services and complex frontend user interfaces.
• Strong technical project management skills to lead projects effectively.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable software that solves complex problems and contributes to the team and mission.
• Excellent communication skills, openness to feedback, and motivation by the mission of Khan Academy.
• Cross-cultural competency, empathy for learners, and a desire to learn and share knowledge.
• Experience with Generative AI/LLMs and building accessible user interfaces are considered beneficial.
