Description:
Khan Academy is seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer II for the Assessments Experience Product.
The role involves working on projects such as integrating learning science into the product, partnering with public school districts, and building tools for teachers.
The position will involve harnessing the power of AI, specifically Khanmigo and Artificial Intelligence.
The company is remote-friendly and uses technologies like Go, GraphQL, JavaScript, React, React Native, and Redux.
The role requires 8+ years of experience in building interactive web-apps, including scalable backend services and frontend user interfaces.
Prior experience in building learning or assessments experiences is preferred, along with knowledge of Generative AI / LLMs.
Strong technical project management skills are necessary, as Senior Software Engineers often lead projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience in building and maintaining complex software, writing clean, maintainable code, and pushing the team and mission forward.
Communication skills, empathy for learners, and excitement about transforming education are essential for this role.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience building interactive web-apps with scalable backend services and complex frontend user interfaces.
Prior experience in building learning or assessments experiences, preferably with knowledge of Generative AI / LLMs.
Experience in building user interfaces with accessibility in mind is a plus.
Strong technical project management skills.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and push the team and mission forward.
