• Khan Academy is seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer II for the Assessments Experience Product team.

• The position will involve harnessing the power of AI, specifically Khanmigo and Artificial Intelligence, to enhance product capabilities.

• The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in building interactive web-apps, including backend services and frontend user interfaces.
• Experience in building learning or assessments experiences, knowledge of Generative AI / LLMs, and accessibility in user interfaces is preferred.
• Strong technical project management skills are required as Senior Software Engineers often lead projects.
• The candidate should be able to write clean, maintainable code, push the team and mission forward, and communicate effectively.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience building interactive web-apps, including scalable backend services and complex frontend user interfaces.
• Prior experience in building learning or assessments experiences, with knowledge of Generative AI / LLMs being a plus.
• Experience in building user interfaces with accessibility in mind is preferred.
• Strong technical project management skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and push the team and mission forward.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to give and receive regular feedback.
