Description:

Employment Hero is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Partnerships and Payroll team as they scale their products and features.
The role involves the development and modernization of the Payroll system, transitioning to a service-oriented and microservices architecture, following a .Net Core migration.
Responsibilities include end-to-end development for cloud-based applications, working on the technology roadmap with Product Owners, designing solutions, new feature development, production improvements, debugging, and maintenance.
The engineer will also recommend improvements to the development process, identify application pain points, perform peer code reviews, test new features, maintain documentation, provide training for the support team, and collaborate with business stakeholders in an agile environment.
The position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across the UK and APAC.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience as a .NET Software Development Engineer.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core is required.
Experience with SQL Server is necessary.
Knowledge of frameworks such as NHibernate (or similar ORM frameworks like Microsoft Entity Framework or Dapper) is essential.
Familiarity with NUnit / XUnit for unit testing is required.
Experience with Castle Windsor (or similar dependency injection/IoC frameworks like Autofaq or Ninject) is needed.
Proficiency in JQuery is required.
Candidates should have experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development techniques.
