Description:
We are seeking a talented full-stack software engineer to join our Hopper Technology Solutions group in creating a travel experience.
As a member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with exceptional engineers, designers, and product managers to bring innovative features to market.
You will provide top-tier support to our partners, ensuring we can scale our joint business effectively.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality software and takes ownership of their work.

You will design and develop robust, user-centric experiences and cutting-edge travel products that make a meaningful impact on millions of travelers worldwide.
Conduct code reviews to ensure our codebases meet and exceed high-quality standards and best practices across the organization.
Build delightful end-to-end features in a fast-paced, experiment-heavy (AB testing), data-driven, and AGILE product lifecycle.
Operate autonomously but work closely with your fellow engineers as well as designers and product managers to ensure high alignment.
Participate in design discussions and product discussions, with opportunities to mentor peers as needed.
Our group operates with very few meetings and emphasizes strong alignment and asynchronous decision-making.
Requirements:
You should have a natural drive to fearlessly deep dive into an unknown code base while keeping your eyes on the goal to deliver results fast.
Strong product thinking is essential, with a conception of quality anchored in the customer.
Experience with, or a willingness to learn, distributed system development in Scala is required.
Proven experience in developing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries is necessary.

Unlimited PTO is provided.
A Carrot Cash travel stipend is included.
Employees have access to co-working space on demand through FlexDesk and a work-from-home stipend.
The company promotes an entrepreneurial culture where pushing limits and taking risks is part of everyday business.
