Hopper is hiring a Sr Software Engineer to join their Fintech team, focusing on the Disruption and Insurance category of their fintech portfolio.
The role involves crafting, implementing, and deploying both frontend and backend systems that enhance Hopper’s user experience.
Daily responsibilities include planning and scoping projects, writing and reviewing code, and learning new technical concepts or features that benefit the team.
The company promotes a low-meeting culture, ensuring no more than 10 hours of meetings are scheduled at the start of the week, while still valuing regular team discussions for project planning.

Requirements:

Candidates must have in-depth experience in full-stack development.
Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end libraries is required.
Experience with Scala or other JVM languages (such as Kotlin or Java) in a production environment is necessary.
